Concealed under a bridge in the Fremont district of Seattle, Washington, the troll has been a scary place since 1990. It was created by four local artists as part of a competition promoting urban renewal. Standing at a height of 5.5 meters, the bearded giant holds an idol of a Volkswagen Beetle in one hand, while appearing to come out of the ground, stopping himself with the other hand. You can’t find anything more unique and bizarre than Carhenge. It is a replica of Stonehenge in England made entirely of painted cars in western Nebraska. Situated in middle of prairie, 250 kilometers northeast of Wyoming, Carhenge is truly “center of attraction” away from populated areas.
In 1987, Carhenge was created from 39 vintage automobiles after artist Jim Reinders studied Stonehenge’s design. Due to its popularity, a visitors center was created in 2006 to provide more information about this quaint American treasure. Death Valley: The Racetrack
Nestled along the California-Nevada border, Death Valley National Park is famous for its stunning outlandish landscape with rolling sand dunes and high mountain peaks. The scariest bizarre part of the park’s landscape is the racetrack. Situated in the California part of the park, this section of the lake’s dry surface looks like it made of tiles, but tourists get filled with prodigies by seeing the moving rocks here.
Although no one has actually seen the rocks moving but their path is clear. Scientists believe that these rocks run on the hot desert floor when rainfall accumulates below the minimum temperature. And then melts in the hot sun, causing the rocks (some of which weigh up to 270 kg) to erode. For decades, moving rocks on the race track in Death Valley National Park have confused scientists and visitors.
Florida is home to many spectacular attractions and special wonders that have attracted tourists for decades. Located about 50 kilometers southwest of Miami, the Castle built by Latvian immigrant, Ed Leedskalanin, using rocks of around 1,000 metric tons of coral. Florida natives speculate on the construction of this magnificent structure.
People believe that Leedskalanin created it using supernatural powers. Because he built the palace himself without any machinery. It is now a museum recorded in the National Documents of Historical Places which is open daily for tourists.
