Food is amazing, but the sheer decadence of street food remains unmatched.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy Breach Candy street is Plate and Pint, a charming cafe-bar as the exuberant young owner, Monaz Irani likes to call it. This brainchild of the young chef is on its way to earn fame for all the right reasons. It has given a different insight into food to Mumbaikars with its different and innovative dishes. A good news for the Vegan crowd too, as few of their new dishes boasts of being delicious vegan options. You wouldn’t want to give these dishes a miss when you know what’s kept for you in store.
This month of March, Plate & Pint makes food a common ground with universal experiences from all over the world at their Global Street Food Festival, 2019! Try the Gyro made from meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie that comes from Greece, or the deep fried Hungarian dish – Langos or the soft, or delicious Lambs in Pita Pockets from Morocco.
They also have Soft shell Tacos from Mexico; Fried chicken – Korean style; Mumbai’s favourite Batata Vada Slider; Cutlet Pav from Goa; the Japan originated Teriyaki Chicken and Teriyaki Tempura Vegetables; The French special Dulce de Leche, nutella & chocolate Mini Dough Balls; and the caramel cookie sandwich with the Mughal-Indian originated Kulfi. Plate & Pint is bringing global to you!
While you’re there, try some fresh confection from their in-house bakery Delifresh too
